Our portfolio companies track their impact via KPIs and report them to us at least on a yearly basis. Here are some examples:
OroraTech
OroraTech uses thermal data to protect people and the planet from space.
Ororatech’s first satellite (FOREST-1 ) can sense wildfires across an area of 180 million hectares (more than double the size of the European Union). The company recently signed a multi-million euro contract with the European Space Agency – ESA to deliver essential data to the European Union as part of the Copernicus Contributing Mission (CCM), the largest provider of Earth observation data globally.
With the recent launch of their second satellite (FOREST-2), Ororatech’s impact is set to grow significantly.
DrDoctor
DrDoctor transforms the way hospitals communicate with their patients.
Clinicians all over the UK use the DrDoctor Patient Engagement Platform to make data driven decisions, to activate patients through self-booking, and to provide remote care. Patient engagement grew from 987,000 patients per month in 2021 to 1.2 million patients per month in 2022, roughly equal to the entire population of Brussels, Belgium.
NatureMetrics
NatureMetrics transform eDNA to into Nature Intelligence to help companies monitor and protect biodiversity.
Customers in 100+ countries sampled DNA with NatureMetrics’ easy-to-use DNA monitoring kits. On a country-by-country basis, NatureMetrics is covering 51% of the globe.
ieso
ieso enables people with a common mental health condition to recover.
More than 460,000 hours (equivalent to 5.25 years) of therapy have been provided to mental health patients using the iseo platform. Patients using ieso have a recovery rate well above traditional offline providers.
Klim
Klim enables sustainability transformation in agriculture
In 2023, farmers used Klim’s platform to help them manage 400,000 hectares of regenerative farmland (an area equal to 560,224 football pitches). Thousands of farmers have already joined the Klim revolution.
Closed Loop Medicine
Closed Loop Medicine improves patients outcomes through drug dose optimisation.
All medicines are poison. The dose alone determines if it is a poison or not. Closed Loop Medicine have clinically evidenced that dose optimisation improves outcomes for patients through using a combination of known medicines + software, enabling a personalised approach to care.
Resourcify
Resourcify enables a zero-waste future.
Their digital waste management platform is transforming the interaction between waste producers and recycling companies to unlock a circular economy. Resourcify’s customers used a network of hundreds of recycling companies handling 260 waste streams to recover over 100 million EUR of waste materials in 2023.
